Thread: How do I create application launch hotkey combos?
i using gnome-classic , lxde.
there simple, yes simple, way yet (it 2012) create hotkey combinations launch applications? ex. ctrl alt n should launch gedit or leafpad, etc. per user prefs.
field/option should under short cut preferences. take gui, or simple file can edited , humanly understandable.
hi , degrab
think should contact developers. file bug or or register list.
for lubuntu , don't know simple gui way. maybe want wait knows.
know manual modifying way of lubuntu-rc.xml , file. not easy gui , think human understandable (if read file little can understand must add , how add).
if want follow way , open lxterminal ,
when modifying file , save , run in terminalcode:leafpad .config/openbox/lubuntu-rc.xml
changes take place.code:openbox --restart
for gnome-classic i think if go system > keyboard , able add shortcuts. (i not sure ,if remember correct) easier , , gui way.
