Effects aren't linked when "Copy with Property Links" after duplicated Comp.


today used "copy property links" feature come cc 12.1.

a great feature, aware:

 

when comp linked properties duplicated, expressions linked original comp

 

this because expression gets created line comp("compname").layer and not thiscomp.layer in it.

 

would nice if gets fixed in updates. maybe adding option asking user these expressions when duplicating comp.

or there way resolve this?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
