i've bought acsm file spanish e-book store , when want activate via digital editions next message comes out "e_adept_request_expired". i've checked related discussions in adobe community forums , tried time, time zone, date, , hour preferences ok. i've tried 2 different pcs (both osx 10.6) contacted e-book store , told me contact adobe.

any possible solutions?

thanks

it pain when these things go wrong , problem falls between 2 different organizations.

usually bought book not have expiry, expiry loans.

you may be able see useful if @ .acsm file editor (such notepad; easier read in notepad++).

one possible reason bug in ade2.0, worth trying older more reliable v1.7.2.

probably won't help, ...???

i haven't seen bug this, development team creative in generation of obscure bugs affect people.

there lots of bugs in ade2.0 (and 2.0.1).  try replacing ade2.0 older more reliable v1.7.2.

(you can have them both installed @ once if like.)

version 1.7.2, little difficult find, available on adobe site windows , mac.

the forum software corrupting link above.  there shouldn't blank in 'editio ns.html'.  following redirects same page: http://tinyurl.com/diged172

some people have found ade trying upgrade automatically.

it appears (not 100% sure) if install ade2.0 new install (not upgrade) 1.7.2 continue run.

probably best no if 2.0.x installation asks if want migrate library.
