Thread: apt-cacher-ng downloading index files in full, even when no changes

i have apt-cacher-ng installed on pc (running 12.04 desktop version) on home network.

notice every time run apt-get update through acng, downloads package index files in full, 11mb or in case.

seemed might related bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1001780.

bug has been fixed direct repository access, i'm still getting big downloads when update through acng.

expected behaviour? if not, should looking @ on own system before go reporting bug?
