Lightroom 4.4 export color profile issues


hello,

 

 

 

my problem when export jpg's lightroom (100% / srgb / sharpen screen) picture seems lack contrast , colors less saturated (looks everywhere, including windows preview, firefox, photoshop..). if select soft proofing , srgb, colors correct.

 

also if take screen capture , save jpg, colors similar preview in lightroom.

 

i have tried export in srgb, adobe rgb , prophoto rgb color profiles none of them looks same lr preview.

this looks lightroom choking on bad monitor profile, if lightroom , photoshop not in agreement (because should be, - can happen react differently bad profile).

 

is monitor calibrated/profiled? calibrator? or if not, using monitor profile provided monitor manufacturer? (they're defective).

 

export adobe rgb , open in photoshop. put ps , lr side side , make screenshot of that. if they're different, bet it's monitor profile. reason testing adobe rgb export (and not srgb) rule out normal gamut clipping.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
