is it possible to create table of contents without having paragraph style ?

i have designed magazine school project in indesign including 20 pages ,now wanted make table of contents have difficultly make watched tutorial online seems had make paragraph style . not know paragraph style , designed pages manually ,anyone can me please ?

this time learn styles, , if class project should have covered styles in class.

 

the built-in toc feature depends on paragraph styles. without them you'll stuck making toc manually (though can use cross-refernces keep date, that's more advanced concept styles).

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
