Thread: Screen resolution limited at 1024x768


i installed ubuntu 12.04 (32bit) in pc using wubi installer , have issue regarding screen resolution. have intel integrated gfx chip , monitor supports resolution larger 1024x768, i.e. 1152x864 (on same pc in win7 i've been using 1152x864). don't have external graphics card.now, i'm stuck 1024x768 resolution , seems can't change it.

running xrandr gets:

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
