Building PC


i building pc video editing , love have input regarding graphics card.

my build has following specs

 

mobo: asus rampage iv black edition

processor: intel core i7 4820k ivy bridge-e 3.7ghz (3.9ghz turbo), lga 2011, 10mb cache, 130w quad core

ram: corsair vengeance - 32gb dual/quad channel ddr3 memory kit (4 x 8gb)

vga: evga geforce gtx 780 ti super-clocked 3gb

 

 

does adobe support/work the vga mentioned. have heard some 600s , 700s series not supported. did 1 of same card have problems , alternative cards did use? don't want spend more $800 card want best ones amount of money can buy.

that card overkill on system mention. gtx 660 ti more appropriate. see tweakers page - balanced systems

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
