8.3 Is Not Just for New Camera Support


i read through gumph when dpreview announced acr8.3 available, , decided not bother because seemed support new camera models.  seen post in john nack's blog suggests there's bit more it.  in case not person missing out...

camera raw 8.3 available release candidate on adobe labs photoshop cs6 , photoshop cc on adobe labs. both versions includes new camera support mentioned below, , photoshop cc includes following new features:

  • whites , blacks support auto levels-like functionality via shift-double-click on sliders.
  • separate auto temperature , auto tint feature. shift-double-click invoke “auto temperature” , “auto tint” separately.
  • ability option-click shortcut in synchronize, new preset, save settings, , copy/paste (bridge) dialog boxes. option-click checkbox check box exclusively. option-click again toggle previous checkbox state.
  • set background color of work area. context-click outside image in work area select background color popup menu.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
