InDesign CS4 crashes on launch


i migrated files new macbook pro. have not been able launch indesign since doing so. other cs products, while glitchy, seem working. launch generates splash page, crashes , generates crash report. (i think can post @ related site?)

 

i'm running os x, version 10.9 (mavericks), although upgraded , problem existed on previous system well, cs4, version 6.

 

i've tried of fixes suggested, except deleting recovery files, don't know find those. when try move sing files desktop, can't. sing path goes: library/application support/adobe/sing/mark ii/astrocache (which empty folder).

 

i've tried uninstall indesign only, when launch uninstaller, message says "required support files missing."

 

thanks.

adobe apps don't migrate well. uninstall , reinstall.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
