Thread: Installed Windows 7 To New Partion. How fix grub?


well on ubuntu 12.04 while.
last night installed windows 7 64 bit after creating ntfs partition it.
can boot windows. heard i'd have fix grub able ubuntu installation.
how go doing that?
(i've got live bootable ubuntu usb gparted on it)

all need re install grub:

link has instructions install live cd. it's same thing if have live usb. should work.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
