Thread: Virtualbox 4.1.12 - USB still no show on Guest OS


platform:
ubuntu 12.04
virtualbox 4.1.12 (incl. virtualbox-guest-additions)
windows 7 32bit (guest os)

installed virtualbox 4.1.12 , guest-additions software center

fired , installed windows 7 32bit
added usb vbox username

when ran guest there no internet had change network bridged eth0 , fixed it

issue:i can add usb on usb settings guest os wouldn't appear on guest... when go computer on windows 7 there's no drive on it

please... there other settings need make usb usable on guest?

type id in terminal , post result.

(1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
