Unable to erase


i imported image created in word , embedded in illustrator cs3. tried erase portion of image activating erase function, left clicked , erased while holding down left mouse button. portion of image disappears reappears when take finger off left click button. why restoring erased portion? thank you!

you using wrong program. ai's eraser works on vector shapes, not pixel data. have use photoshop. otherwise trace image produce clipping mask.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
