Lightroom 4 Catalog Corrupt


"lightroom 4 catalog corrupt , cannot used or backed until repaired"

 

repairing not seem problem, have backed catalog numerous times before occurence.

the first thing try recent backup.

 

make copy of in operating system , perhaps rename it.

 

then double click on or choose file->open catalog inside lr.

 

set lr backup on exit , perform optimization.

 

if works proceed catalog while, maybe month. concern problem may exist in backups. if goes go on there. otherwise repeat next oldest catalog.

 

there folks know how repair actual database inside catalog beyond expertise.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
