Creative cloud desktop failed to install on Mac OS


hello,

 

i have seat needs use creative cloud job. cannot install creative cloud application , when trying afresh, gets error "unable install creative cloud please close active adobe applications , retry installation" message via dmg image installer file. there no other or active adobe application on imac , no adobe application running anywhere on machine.

 

imac os x 10.8.5, 2.9ghz.

 

the problem reoccurs after navigating applications/utilities folder , putting folders adobe application manager folder , creative cloud trash , emptying it. navigating library/application support/adobe/oobe folder , renaming oobe.old, again downloading creative cloud desktop url https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud , trying again install it.

 

despite of this, same "unable install creative cloud please close active adobe applications , retry installation" message prompt comes , installation of creative cloud application abandoned.

 

this frustrating experience. workaround appliaction installed can on work possible?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
