Thread: Recovering partition


i have iomega external network hdd. in process of deleting folder contained little on 300 gigs of data stopped functioning. show on network error message if tried open folder. took drive out of case , ran seagate drive test on , came healthy. attached windows computer , show in disk manager file system on partitions not recognized. after initial internet search learned uses xfs file system. attached ubuntu computer. 3 partitions showed up. open 2 smaller partitions not open main data partition. got error. “unable mount 996 gb file system. error mounting mount: mount: structure needs cleaning” if go disk manager in ubuntu, drive shows , lists 3 partitions. main data partition shows xfs partition. if highlight partition , run “check file system” comes “file system clean”. if try mount system, error: “error mounting volume...filesystem driver not installed.”

appreciate suggestions on how possibly recover data have on drive.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
