Drop shadow in AE 12.1


hi everybody,

 

did noticed ? drop shadow behavior has changed recently, maybe between 12.0 , 12.1 update.

 

since ever, drop shadow has been applied before transforms, causing compensate shadow angle when rotating layer @ same time.

now seems don't need compensate anymore, if shadow angle applied after transforms.

 

this handy update, there way reverse behavior old one, compatibility purpose ?

there no change in area. guess have been using drop shadow effect, comes before transforms, , been using drop shadow layer style, comes after. possibility you're using effect on continuously rasterized layers, have different render order.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
