Can't change language on existing document


on mac existing cs6 indesign document, have tried change spell check use uk language, e.g., want "programme", not "program".

 

1. before open document, have selected indesign/preferences/dictionary , changed english: uk language.

 

2. once document opened:

  - have changed paragraph styles (advanced character formats) english: uk language;

  - have no character styles nothing change there;

  - have gone edit/spelling/user dictionary , changed language english: uk.

 

when open edit/spelling/check spelling, language set english: uk. when start spell check, doesn't pick of words know need changing uk english (i.e., programme, not program)!

 

help! else can do?

you might leaving out 1 matters: character. see in type/character text selected?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
