Adobe reinstall or?

people,

i have licensed version of adobe acrobat pro 9

and of adobe photoshop elements 7.0

and of adobe premiere elements 7.0

 

my desktop computer dell 9000 xps running windows 7 - 64bit repaired (a replacement internal hd - not c drive).  , otherwise not used 3 months.

since hd repair – when attempt open of adobe applications message adobe acrobat pro needs uninstalled , reinstalled or contact network administrator (me - have 1 laptop , 1 desktop) error (148:3)

i have tried repair - , took hour or , seemed work.

i have no real idea why message occurs , not want go through uninstall/ install cycle when might not fix underlying problem.

what should next?

 

at least 1 problem have upgraded adobe acrobat 5.5 7 8 9 (similarly photo products)  have been loyal customer many years.

i recall last time reinstalled software onto new computers took interminable amount of time work through editions , updates.

the 148:3 error has activ\tion part of acrobat.

 

i suggest use ms cleaner tool uninstall acrobat , try again , more go acrobat forums rather echosign forums now.
