hello , welcome

i'm not sure if can , have question or 2 . why did copy , install package , not update other computer if both computers online ? wrote had tried update , install software assuming both computers have internet connection.

if computer receiving package off line understand dependency errors because dependencies not included .deb package , pulled online repository .

both computers using same operating system , desktop environment ? if different may have different dependencies.
