failed to export


i error message on 22mb+ size pdfs.  "failed export microsoft word.  there an  unexpected problem". 

 

i saw previous answer referenced "disable ocr".  don't know means or how it.

hi,

 

to  disable ocr:

1) in web ui @ https://exportpdf.acrobat.com  turn off box "recognize scanned text in" in export option dialog.

 

2) in adobbe reader

turn on box "disable text recognition" in ocr setting after clicking "change" under "recognize text in english(us)"

 

you can download acrobat xi pro trial version www.adobe.com , install on computer.

then open pdf file in acrobat , select file menu > save other > microsoft word.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
