Thread: Non-English Alphabetics in File-Names Display �


this particularly happens me in music files, names french, german or spanish etc etc not 1 language.

have been searching , have read:

and

know because need more or different character set 1 , how kubuntu?

windows seems handle ok it's pain have export there fix , import back.

thing cant this: kubuntu tells me file doesn't exist! , have pile of files cannot move or delete because don't exist...

have been searching none of threads here or elsewhere seems match mine.

what's in name?

what filesystem on?

also, can paste contents of /etc/mtab?
