Thread: Compiling blcr, trouble with kernel build path


this must easy one. need compile static library (libcr.a) blcr, configure script keeps giving me hard time location of kernel build files. example:

checking linux kernel build in /usr/src/linux-3.2.0-29-generic-obj... not found
checking linux kernel build in /usr/src/linux-3.2.0-29-generic... include/linux/version.h missing
checking linux kernel build in /usr/src/kernels/3.2.0-29-generic... not found
configure: error: not find directory containing linux kernel 3.2.0-29-generic build. perhaps try --with-linux=full_path_to_kernel_build
what need install allow compile? i've tried referring headers folders, , unzipped linux-source-3.2.0 folder, still unsatisfied. misunderstanding needs?

include/linux/version.h no longer exists in kernel. find out kernel versions compatible want build.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
