Illustrator CS2 Run time error


i encountered error ..."illustrator cs2\support files\contents\windows\illustrator.exe . application has requested runtime terminate in unusual way.please contact application's support team more information. "

 

i know issue not new have tried solutions found in forum here no avail. information, using window xp sp3 , dual core 3.0ghz, 1gb ram

 

tried solutions:

 

1) delete aipref in c:\documents & settings\<user name>\local settings\application data\adobe\adobe illustrator cs2 settings ----> found local admin login.other user's login not have

 

    folder (our pc running on domain)

 

    ( suppose path given in solutions in c:\documents & settings\<user name>\app data\adobe illustrator cs2 settings mine different )

 

2) uninstall related folders cleared revouninstaller , reinstall back

 

3) download adobe illustrator cs2 patches update , run no avail.

 

4) thorough scan av , antimalware 0 detections found.

 

5) using different login name, works. not know why. (but particular user having problem opening on same pc)

 

previously, working fine until recently. information, no windows update performed before problem happened.

 

please advice

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
