Does reinstalling my adobe software cause me to lose my created files?


i need reinstall cs2 software because unable activate current serial number. hard drive fried , had reinstall software, reactivation code no longer works. according adobe if uninstall programs can reinstall software new serial number no longer requires activation code. afraid if lose files have created during 30 activation day grace period. know if case? suppose save files onto external hard drive protect them, not sure if work. know best option here?

normally files should saved self-made folder on machine, if have not done along best bet save backup copies in event files removed during uninstall.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
