hi, everyone.   i've started using new method of importing tables indesign - selecting table word document, changing pasting style "all information" (in edit > preferences > clipboard handling).   then, apply cell styles (all of them own paragraph style). have inset settings defined.   in cells, use top cell inset, keep text baseline cell's bottom limit.   but, since table comes form word document, bigger font size, most of time, there's vertical space inside rows after apply cell styles and indesign tells me have manually remove vertical space in every single row.   does know script/plug-in removes unwanted vertical space automatically?   thanks in advance. select table   and go table>cell options   go rows , columns tab   change row height "at least"   insert 0 (you'll hit warning of lowest amount can insert)   then insert value. hello everyone! i'm new linux ubuntu server configuration , after researching way of installing visual package gnome, kde got deadend. i've tried use , install of packages somehow not going right. i've used followings commands , install different 3 packages after rebooting server, still command line visual "ms-dods" sudo apt-get ubuntu-desktop sudo apt-get xubuntu-desktop sudo apt-get kubuntu-desktop can me giving me kind of guide or ideia of wrong... thank you best regards code: startx do anything? did install desktop , reboot after each one? hello,   i have hand drawn picture scanned jpeg file , want convert vector image transparent background, keeps saving white background. know it's simple fix, i'm stuck. can me out?     chris it's kinda not simple fix...because 1.you can't have jpeg transparent background 2.a jpeg 'raster' art (the way in illustrator make vector using live trace or pen tool , re-drawing it)   depending on 'picture' 'possibly' in photoshop (convert grayscale--then convert 1 bit tiff) yield line drawing (kinda coloring book image) have transparent background--but depending on complexity of image, may not desirable.   can post screen shot of scan? easier assist if image viewed.
